Meet the High Demands of Versatile and Sustainable Glass Applications with Openair-Plasma®
Its transparency, light transmission, aging and scratch resistance make glass a versatile and attractive material. The requirements for bonding glass to other materials are very high and diverse, considering the spectrum, for example, from automotive applications to use cases in solar systems or weather-resistant lighting systems.
Openair-Plasma® surface pretreatment enables fine cleaning, which decisively supports the reliable, safe and durable end product. Dry plasma cleaning allows unwanted substances to be completely removed. This makes it possible to continue processing the glass immediately after treatment. In addition, PlasmaPlus® technology extends the possible applications of glass by applying a plasma polymer coating. These coatings can have different functions, such as adhesion or ink improvement, corrosion protection or a lotus effect.
Attend this PlasmaTalk presented by Peter Langhof, Technical Sales Germany at Plasmatreat, and learn more about the possibilities of Openair-Plasma® for demanding glass applications.
